Who we are
Flizent (“Flizent”, “we”, “us”) is a website operations service available at flizent.com. Flizent is operated by Alok Maurya. You can reach us at [email protected].
The agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Flizent. By creating an account, submitting a sign-up request, or using Flizent on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Flizent.
The service
Flizent lets agencies, freelancers and website owners manage websites in one place: connecting infrastructure providers, tracking projects, running launch checks, exchanging requests and files, and keeping a record of activity. Features available on each plan are described on our pricing page. Features marked as upcoming on our roadmap are not part of any plan until we release them. During early access, we set up new workspaces personally after you submit a sign-up request.
Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Each workspace has one or more owners. Owners control membership, connections, billing and deletion. People you invite receive only the access their role and website grants allow, and an owner can remove that access at any time.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Flizent.
Who owns what
Your content is yours. Websites, projects, files, messages and other material you put into Flizent (“Customer Content”) remain yours. You give us a limited license to host, process and display Customer Content only as needed to provide and improve the service for you.
Client-owned websites stay with the client. Where a website belongs to a client’s workspace, its connections, files and history belong to that client, not to any agency or developer invited to work on it. We will not transfer them to an invited party on request.
Flizent is ours. The software, design, brand and documentation belong to us. Your subscription gives you the right to use the service, not to copy, resell or reverse-engineer it.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
Third-party connections
Flizent connects to services we don’t control, such as Cloudflare and GitHub. You authorize those connections through each provider’s own permission system, and you confirm that you are entitled to grant that access. Your use of those services remains subject to their terms.
Providers can change their interfaces, expire tokens or become unavailable. We work to limit disruption, but we are not responsible for the behavior, availability or accuracy of third-party services, or for data they report to us.
Information Flizent shows about a website, including launch checks, reflects the most recent reading we were able to obtain and the time of that reading. It is provided to help you make decisions; it is not a guarantee about the state of a website at any other moment.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Flizent to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- connect accounts or websites you are not authorized to manage;
- upload malware or material you have no right to share;
- attempt to access another workspace’s data, probe or attack our systems, or bypass usage limits;
- resell or sublicense the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend an account that seriously breaches these rules or puts other customers at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Plans, payment and taxes
Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by our authorized online reseller, which is the Merchant of Record for all paid orders. The reseller processes payments, issues invoices, handles sales tax and VAT, and provides customer service for billing enquiries and returns. Its name appears at checkout and on your receipt, and its own buyer terms apply to the purchase.
Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until canceled. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes, which are calculated at checkout.
Free trials. Trials do not require a card. When a trial ends you can choose a paid plan; if you don’t, the workspace becomes read-only.
Changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. We may change list prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal. Founding member pricing, where offered, is kept for as long as the subscription remains active.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we or our reseller will retry and notify you. If it remains unpaid, the workspace becomes read-only rather than being deleted.
Free plans. Owner Free and client portal access are free. If we ever introduce a charge for them, we will give at least 60 days’ notice, and it will not apply retroactively.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Where you use Flizent to process personal data about others (for example your clients or team), you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so, and we process that data on your instructions to provide the service.
Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on self-serve plans. Enterprise agreements may include a written uptime commitment. We may improve, change or remove features; if we remove a material paid feature, we will give reasonable notice.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Flizent is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid for Flizent in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, revenue or data.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Ending the agreement
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings and close your workspace at any time. We may terminate for serious or repeated breach of these Terms, with notice where reasonable.
When a subscription ends or a workspace is closed, your data remains available in read-only form for 90 days so you can export it, after which it is deleted from our active systems. Backups are removed on their normal schedule.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email and update the effective date above. Continuing to use Flizent after the changes take effect means you accept them.
